Sourav Ganguly Backs Rohit Sharma as a Full-time White-ball Captain

We all know that the Indian team is going through plenty of changes since the post-T20 world cup. From Rahul Dravid’s in charge as the new coach and Rohit’s captaincy etc. Virat Kohli’s removal from White-ball captaincy received plenty of criticism among the fans and other officials. Many of them had a point of view on Virat’s continuation to remain as the ODI Captain till the 2023 ODI World cup. Now the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly himself came in front saying that Rohit deserves to be a full-time white-ball captain as a reference with his past performance as a white-ball skipper. Saurav backed Rohit by stating his past record and bringing up the matter that he had led India to win the Asia Cup without the presence of Virat Kohli. He also Stated that Rohit has proved with the winning of five IPL titles for Mumbai Indians as a Captain. 

Before the T20 World cup, Kohli already announced his step back as T20I Captain. Also, we have witnessed India’s performance in the world cup, their pathetic game against Pakistan.
